From the sleepy northside suburb of Boondall, Mr. Brent Downes has been writing ’sketchy, off-beat lines and cheap suburban and sea-shore rhymes’ since his early teens. Today Mr. B holds an honours degree in drama from Australian Catholic University and is a regular performer in Brisbane’s spoken-word scene.Mr.B continues to spy on passersby and make records of times spent in and out of sorts in the only way he knows how.
